You can lead a happier and more energetic life

I practice many techniques adapted for the individual patient. For energetically sensitive individuals, needling can be done shallowly, or I can apply pleasant tuning forks for the most subtle yet still powerful results. For acute or chronic injuries, traditional acupuncture can be combined with cupping, electroacupuncture, and/or auricular (ear) acupuncture for immediate pain relief and faster healing.

Chinese medical massage, called Tuina (“twei-naw”), can also help restore full function after injury. For women’s health, especially for menstrual cramps, warming therapies such as moxa, TDP lamp, or solar seventh tuning forks may be applied. Dermatology issues, including acne, rashes, dry itchy skin, or excessive tendency to bruise can all be greatly relieved by acupuncture.

Doraine is a lifelong recreational athlete; in the past she raced mountain bikes and toured the Colorado Rockies on road bike. Currently Doraine cycles, jogs with her dog and also practices yoga, Pilates, and T’ai Chi.
