Yoga dates back more than 5,000 years. In ancient times, the desire for greater personal freedom, health and long life, and heightened self-understanding gave birth to this system of physical and mental exercise which has since spread throughout the world. The word Yoga means “to join or yoke together,” and it brings the body and mind together into one harmonious experience.

Barbara Ocskai is our Certified yoga instructor having earned a teaching certificate from 7 Centers Yoga Arts with curriculum consistent with Yoga Alliance and American Yoga College. Her studies include philosophy, Hatha, Kundalini and Hidden Language® yoga, Meditation, Mantra and Pranayama, as well as dream work and dance.

In her years of study and personal practice, Barbara has come to discover herself. She states, “In my classes it is my intention to offer a variety of asana, movement for the entire body and with seeds of thought, an awakening in the mind, brought together with breath and awareness. The opportunity to bring these teachings to others is a gift to me, I teach with sincerity and compassion for those who come to learn yoga at any level, physical, mental/emotional or spiritual.”
